ABOUT

Ikebana International, founded in 1956 and headquartered in Tokyo, Japan is dedicated to the study and promotion of the art of Japanese flower arranging and represents all schools of ikebana. Johor Bahru local chapter #235 was formed in 1991 and subsequently chartered in 1993. Our members gather for program meetings featuring demonstrations by arrangers from various Ikebana schools or related cultural programs and we stage one exhibition annually.
