We kick off the 2015 - 16 year with a membership drive and we encourage members to bring guests interested to join our chapter. There will be a very special lucky draw where 5 guests will be offered one year's subscription fees with Ikebana International worth 350 RM. The lucky guests will only require to pay the joining fee to the chapter of $100.

An Architect/Interior Designer's perspective on Ikebana
A talk by Yap Yew Peng, B Arch (hons) UNSW, APAM, founding partner of y.architects.
Bio: Established in 1995 with his wife, y.architects continuously exhibit commitment to design excellence and take all opportunities to experiment with the art of building creatively. y.architects is inspired by the passion of creating environmentally sustainable built environments.
Mini Exhibition
There will be an exhibition of 8 arrangements representing Sogetsu, Ohara and Ikenobo schools which will be utilised by our guest speaker to demonstrate Ikebana's role to enhance the home interior.
Ikebana Bazaar
There will be ikebana containers and ikebana supplies available for sale.
