Lynda Loh
President Datin Lynda Loh has been a member of IIJB
since 2005. Since joining, Datin has
been actively participating within the committee in different portfolios and had
served more than 6 Past Presidents. This
year Datin has been nominated to be the President of IIJB 2014-2015.
Due to her previous tight working schedule, Datin
Lynda has not been able to take up floral arrangement class to pursue her
passion and love for ikebana flower arrangement. However, Datin had since started her lessons
last year and was dared by the committee to do a demonstration to start the
program for the year! President Datin
Lynda gracefully accepted the challenge.
Owing to the support of our members, the club has made
remarkable achievements throughout the years.
The Committees would like to extend our gratitude and appreciation to
each and every member for your support by hosting this program FOC (on the house).

24th Annal General Meeting 2014
This year AGM was held at Double Tree by Hilton Hotel on 12th August 2014.
The meeting was called to order with a quorum of 24 members. The account were adopted with a note on current account figure to make full use of it either to put in FD or subsidy in the program and it will let committees to decide the best on it.
Hudred percenters for the chapter's events were rewarded.

President Lynda Loh ‘s Speech in 24th AGM.
Y.A.M Tunku Shahariah, Y.A.M. Puteri Retno Astrini, Datin-Datin and members, a very good morning and welcome to our 24th AGM today at this cozy hall of this new opened Double Tree by Hilton Hotel.
I am indeed
honoured to be named the 2014-2015 President of Ikebana International Johor
Bahru Chapter 235, an entity with a glorious past, and I will put in my full
effort to ensure that we continue building upon our legacy of creating
friendship through flowers.
As I step into
this role, it is with great comfort that I can rely on the experience and
guidance from our Immediate Past President Y.A.M. Puteri Retno Astrini and, of
course, the Board members. I am Thankful that I can work with strong women who
embody talent, creativity and dedication.
Dear members, I
care about your interest and your voice. I care about making the programs of
our year as interesting and satisfying as possible for each and every one of
you. A Single head achieves nothing, so I am counting on the cooperation of
you, fellow members. Come and share your ideas and together we can make it
happen! Raise your hand and share your vision. Be the first one to say : “ I
can do it. I am available, let me help!”
I look forward
to working with all of you to make sure IIJB succeeds in 2014-2015. So again,
thank you for selecting me and thanks for all your guidance as we drive our new
term from here. Together, I believe we can achieve great thing. Thank you.
